Increasing this graphics setting will use more VRAM. This saves performance and set it at On.Įnvironment Textures setting controls the quality of the textures for walls, houses, vegetation, and pretty much all the textures that the game renders except for Eivor. As the object is obscured from the player’s field of view, the game will stop rendering reflection for it. Screen Space reflection only renders the reflection for the object that is in the player’s field of view. Screen Space Reflections option is the only graphics setting that controls reflections. Recommended: Medium Screen Space Reflections As you reduce the setting, the distance reduces at which the player can see reflections. While I am not sure but, this graphics setting also controls how far the players can see reflections on the water surface. The higher this setting is, the better-looking water will be rendered by the game and players will notice better underwater details. This setting tweaks the quality of the in-gam water and underwater details. However, it’s one of the most performance taxing options and not really worth it since we won’t be looking at the sky that much. Increasing this graphics setting will result in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla rendering realistic looking. Volumetric Clouds option controls the quality of the in-game clouds. The higher the setting, the better shadows and the greater the distance will be for the rendered shadows. This Assassin’s Creed Valhalla graphics option controls the quality of shadows and the distance at which shadows are rendered. I recommend that you set this option at medium to save performance for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
The higher the setting, the higher the distance the players will notice grass and rocks rendered. I recommend that you set it at Low.Ĭlutter controls how far the ground details like grass, bushes, and rocks are rendered from the player. This option controls the quality of objects in the game’s world, how far high geometry assets are loaded, and how much geometrical complexity the objects have. This graphics option in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is one of the most taxing on the performance. If you want, you can set it at medium for better image quality but it may cost you performance. I recommend that you keep it at Low as it’ll still remove aliasing but the image will look a bit blurry. This option can be heavy on the performance depending on the option you choose.
Anti-AliasingĪnti-Aliasing eliminates aliasing or jagged edges in-game. It depends on the players if they want to use it or not. However, players might notice when the game drops the render resolution. This option can be enabled to push the graphics settings up a notch while maintaining FPS. While the “Resolution Scale” will permanently reduce the render resolution, “Adaptive Quality” will only drop the resolution when the game requires it i.e when FPS drops below the target. This setting dynamically adjusts the resolution to achieve the target FPS. Adaptive QualityĪdaptive Quality is an alternative to Resolution Scale. It depends on the player if they want to reduce the render resolution to boost FPS or to increase the resolution for better image quality. This will improve the game’s image quality at the cost of performance.
Increasing the scaler will render the game at a higher resolution and will downsample it to the native resolution.
